Imagine a mediteranean landscape where red soils are competing with the blue sky of Provence…
Where grapes are getting strenght from rich clays formed in the middle of vast limestone beds, in a Rhone Valley environment…
You are in the Terroir of the Côtes du Rhône Village.
In the Rhone Valley.
In the Ardeche.
The National Institut of French AOC recognized the quality of this unique terroir.
In 2017, the institut decided to grant it a specific name :
Côtes du Rhône Villages "Saint Andéol".
The wine produced here are made out of Syrah and Grenache. It’s one of the last place in the northern part of the Rhône Valley where Grenache grows.
The natural freshness of the Ardèche helps keeping the freshness of the fruits, despite the omnipresent sun of the south.
